Ethereum L2 network Lisk community plans to vote to destroy 100 million tokens

币界网报道：The Ethereum Layer2 network Lisk community has initiated a governance vote on whether to destroy 100 million LSK (worth about $38 million) in the DAO treasury. These tokens were newly minted after migrating to the Ethereum ERC-20 standard and are currently unreleased. If the proposal is passed, 100 million LSK will be permanently destroyed, and the total supply will be reduced by 25% to 300 million; if the proposal is rejected, these tokens will be released annually from 2027 to 2033. The vote will start on July 1, 2025, and at least 24 million LSK will be required to support or participate in the quorum.
