JPMorgan Chase launched the JPMD pilot project, which will deploy on-chain tokens representing customer US dollar deposits on the Base public chain supported by Coinbase. At the same time, Coinbase is applying for a no-objection letter from the SEC and plans to provide tokenized stock trading services to US customers.
