Russia Exposed to Using Bitcoin to Fund Teenage Espionage and Sabotage Operations

币界网报道：According to a joint investigation by Reuters, blockchain analysis companies Global Ledger and Recoveris, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Military Intelligence Agency (GRU) are continuing to use Bitcoin to pay teenagers and untrained spies. Recoveris said that the FSB and GRU have repeatedly used cryptocurrencies to fund young people in Poland to carry out tasks such as surveillance, graffiti and arson, and some of the funds were used to hire mercenaries in the Donbas region and bribe European politicians. Given the continued sanctions restrictions, such crypto payments are expected to continue, and transparency allows Russia to monitor the use of funds.
