币界网报道:On June 11, the Trump administration, through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), drastically cut the functions of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and suspended law enforcement actions, raising concerns about the lack of consumer protection. Although cryptocurrency industry leaders such as Coinbase and Gemini support this reform, saying that the CFPB hinders innovation, crypto users actually face problems such as account freezes and unresponsive customer service, and have nowhere to complain. Coinbase alone has received more than 8,000 CFPB complaints. Several consumer organizations and government employee unions have filed lawsuits questioning the legality of these reforms.
