Guntermann said: "These data will reinforce the Fed's wait-and-see stance before next week's policy decision, as the impact of higher tariffs remains limited at present." According to LSEG data, money markets fully priced in the Fed keeping interest rates unchanged on June 18. They also expect a more than 50% chance of a rate cut in September.
