"The data will reinforce the Fed's wait-and-see stance ahead of next week's policy decision, as the impact of higher tariffs remains limited for now," Guntermann said. Money markets fully priced in the Fed keeping interest rates unchanged on June 18, according to LSEG. They also see a more than 50% chance of a rate cut in September.
