最新报道:According to CoinDesk Japan, on December 1st, Remix Point, a Japanese listed company, announced the cancellation of its planned ¥1.2 billion investment in Web3.0-related businesses. The funds will instead be used for investments in battery and energy businesses. The company had previously planned to enter the validator node business through a partnership with blockchain validator node operator Omakase, focusing on networks using the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus algorithm. The company stated that in the current business environment, it is difficult to secure high-quality investment cases that meet the criteria of "high growth potential" and "appropriate balance between expected returns and risks" in the short term. It is worth noting that the company underwent management changes at the end of September, with CEO Taku Tashiro, who was driving the Web3 business, resigning after only three months in office, and Yoshihiko Takahashi returning as CEO. Furthermore, the company has completed its plan to purchase Bitcoin for ¥4.7 billion and decided in October to halt new share issuances aimed at purchasing crypto assets.
