Situational Awareness Raises Core Scientific Stake to 9.4% Ahead of CoreWeave Merger Vote

最新报道：Situational Awareness, the AI hedge fund founded by former OpenAI researcher Leopold Aschenbrenner, has increased its stake in bitcoin miner Core Scientific (CORZ) to 9.4%, purchasing over 10 million shares since September at prices mostly between $17 and $19 per share. The latest acquisition of 2.3 million shares at $19.07 each on Oct. 14 comes ahead of Core Scientific's Oct. 30 shareholder vote on a proposed merger with AI cloud operator CoreWeave, which would grant CoreWeave a controlling stake and accelerate the miner's shift toward high-performance computing services.
