Authorities allege he defrauded 30,000 investors through fake token sales for a purported Vietnamese stablecoin called VNDT, with police seizing assets worth $34.2 million. Binh faces charges of fraudulent property appropriation and accounting violations that could bring life imprisonment, while maintaining he was a victim who lost $2.5 million in the scheme.
