最新报道：According to Bijie.com and ME News, on October 10 (UTC+8), Ye Guiping, Director of the Macau Social and Economic Development Research Center at the City University of Macau, stated that with the official launch of the Digital RMB International Operations Center in Shanghai and the progress in the development of the Digital Pataca, the integration of the two digital currency platforms will become inevitable. Ye noted that the Digital RMB offers advantages in settlement security, payment costs, convenience, and identity verification, and will support future transactions of financial products and services on the blockchain. The implementation of the Digital Pataca will help meet the cross-border payment needs of residents and financial institutions. Macau can leverage its position as a "China-Portugal Platform" to serve as a bridge connecting domestic and foreign systems, promote the interoperability of the Digital Pataca and the Digital RMB, and accelerate the internationalization of the RMB.
