Survey Finds 77% of Bitcoin Holders Have Never Used DeFi Platforms

Despite 73% expressing interest in earning yield on Bitcoin and 42% wanting liquidity without selling, over 40% would allocate less than 20% of their BTC due to trust and complexity concerns. CEO Mark Zalan highlighted an accessibility gap, noting 65% couldn't name any BTCFi project, and urged platforms to focus on simplicity and education to bridge the disconnect from Ethereum-based DeFi models.
