According to Glassnode data, exchange balances are only approximately 2.83 million, a six-year low; CryptoQuant's figures are even lower, at 2.45 million, a seven-year low. Both platforms report a sharp decline in BTC exchange balances over the past few weeks. Glassnode indicates that over 114,000 BTC (approximately $14 billion) has flowed out of exchanges in the past two weeks. Analysts believe that the shift to self-custody and institutional accounts indicates growing confidence in holding the cryptocurrency, and that tightening supply may be a driving force for further price increases.
