Average daily trading volume (ADV) reached 25.3 million contracts this year, with September's ADV reaching 26.1 million contracts, both setting the second-highest trading volume records on record. The data includes: 1. Q3 ADV for cryptocurrency contracts reached 340,000 contracts (notional value $14.1 billion), with Micro Ethereum futures recording 209,000 contracts and Ethereum futures 236,000 contracts. 2. September ADV for cryptocurrency contracts reached 309,000 contracts (notional value $13.7 billion). Micro Ethereum futures saw a 472% increase to 182,000 contracts, while Micro Bitcoin futures saw a 50% increase to 62,000 contracts.
