Lighter opens public mainnet with Ethereum-settled zk perps

最新报道：Lighter has launched its public mainnet after eight months of private testing, positioning itself as an Ethereum-settled perpetuals exchange using a zk-rollup with a centralized sequencer for order batching and zero-knowledge circuits for state verification. It offers no trading fees for retail users via the front end, while charging API and high-frequency traders, and has implemented measures to prevent wash-trading and Sybil attacks. During private beta, it attracted around 188,000 unique accounts and 50,000 daily activities, and has now started Season 2 of its points program, running through 2025, hinting at a potential future token.
