"We should stop calling blockchain Web3," he said. "Blockchain is a trust system, not just a network system." He noted that the underlying logic of blockchain is simple, fast, scalable, and trust-centric. Future infrastructure must find a new balance between bandwidth, latency, and security, which will determine whether decentralized applications can achieve large-scale adoption. He also emphasized that designing validator incentive mechanisms to avoid speculative behavior and ensure timely voting and decentralization will be long-term challenges facing the industry.
