Singapore's fintech industry rebounded in the first half of 2025, with 90 deals completed and nearly $1.04 billion in investment. This represents an 87% year-over-year increase in deal value compared to the first half of 2024 and a 28% increase compared to the second half of 2024. Investment activity was concentrated in payments, cryptocurrency, and artificial intelligence and machine learning. Transactions in the payments sector encompassed both early-stage and late-stage funding rounds, while cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence focused primarily on early-stage investments. Globally, fintech investment in the first half of 2025 reached $44.7 billion across 2,216 deals, down from $54.2 billion (2,376 deals) in the second half of 2024.
