Ohio Moves to Accept Crypto Payments for State Fees

The approval follows months of work since April when LaRose and Treasurer Robert Sprague pushed for crypto payment authorization. LaRose noted growing demand for crypto options, with his office processing hundreds of thousands of transactions annually. This initiative is part of Ohio's broader digital asset push, including the Blockchain Basics Act and a proposed Strategic Crypto Reserve.
