Greer stated on the sidelines of the ASEAN Economic Ministers' Meeting in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, "President Trump and I are proud of the work we have done together on these agreements, and we expect to finalize some of them in the coming months, if not weeks." This was the first high-level meeting between ASEAN and the United States since the implementation of so-called reciprocal tariffs in August.
