最新报道：According to a report from Bijie.com, Wildberries, one of Eastern Europe's largest online marketplaces, is piloting cryptocurrency payments in Belarus. The pilot program is being conducted in partnership with Whitebird, a fintech company operating within the Hi-Tech Park, a government-backed initiative overseeing innovation projects in the country's digital economy. The pilot program, authorized by Hi-Tech Park, does not allow users to pay directly with cryptocurrencies. Instead, Wildberries is adopting a hybrid model: users can exchange popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and TON for electronic gift certificates through the Whitebird platform. These gift certificates are issued in Belarusian rubles (BYN) and can be redeemed on the Wildberries website and mobile app. According to a company statement, the service is currently in a testing phase and is only available to a limited number of users. It is accessible on both desktop and mobile devices.
