最新报道:B HODL Plc, a new UK company aiming to accumulate and generate revenue from Bitcoin (BTC), listed on London's Aquis Stock Exchange on Monday after raising approximately £15.3 million (US$20.7 million) to implement its strategy. The company's shares began trading on the AQSE Growth Market at 8:00 AM local time under the ticker symbol "HODL." Aquis is a UK exchange for small and medium-sized growth companies, listing fewer than 100 companies with a combined market capitalization of less than £5.0 billion (US$6.8 billion). It offers a low-cost alternative to the London Stock Exchange, but with significantly smaller scale and less liquidity. Prior to the listing, B HODL raised a total of £15.3 million (US$20.7 million) before expenses through the issuance of 109,537,520 new ordinary shares at a price of £0.14 (US$0.19) per share. This includes the previously announced £13.3 million (US$18 million) raised through direct subscriptions for 95,251,802 shares, and an additional £2 million (US$2.7 million) raised from an oversubscribed WRAP retail offering by Winterflood Securities, which increased the offering by 14,285,718 shares. The new shares will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares in all respects, including dividends and distributions subject to exchange approval. The company is led by CEO Freddie New, a former lawyer and co-founder of the advocacy group Bitcoin Policy UK, and is backed by UK bitcoin exchange CoinCorner, which holds 14.3% of the issued share capital. CoinCorner CEO Danny Scott serves as Chief Bitcoin Officer and a director of B HODL. "We are delighted to welcome a wide range of new shareholders, along with our strategic investors, and look forward to embarking on this journey together," Scott said in the statement. "Our team has been working in the Bitcoin space for over a decade, and we are determined to make B HODL the leading UK-listed Bitcoin company. The hard work of building the future of finance begins now." Additionally, Blockstream CEO Adam Back has been listed as a major shareholder, holding over 25.5% of the issued share capital. Back will also lead the US-based Bitcoin Standard Treasury Company as CEO, which will be listed on Nasdaq through a merger with Cantor Equity Partners I, a Cantor Fitzgerald-backed SPAC. BSTR will launch with a balance sheet of 30,021 BTC, ranking among the top four public Bitcoin treasuries globally, and plans to raise up to $1.5 billion through a combination of equity, convertible notes, and preferred stock. According to a statement shared with The Block, B HODL's directors aim to establish the company as a global player in Bitcoin services, with a focus on Lightning liquidity and infrastructure to support mainstream adoption. The strategy centers on building a substantial Bitcoin treasury, initially focused on leveraging it to operate top-ranked Lightning nodes, including existing nodes operated by CoinCorner. This approach aims to provide scalable liquidity, generating routing fees from Lightning payments. The company plans to expand and diversify its revenue streams over time as new opportunities emerge, while continuing its rapid accumulation of Bitcoin through further issuances of ordinary shares, according to the company. New said in a statement: "Today's listing is a milestone moment for B HODL. We are proud to be the first UK-listed company dedicated to Bitcoin accumulation and revenue generation from the outset. The strong support we have received from new investors, coupled with the increased demand and early closing of the WRAP offering, underscores the interest in the long-term potential of Bitcoin—both as an asset and as a means of payment. With our listing complete, we can now focus on building our Bitcoin treasury and efficiently deploying it through the Lightning infrastructure. We believe this strategy positions us at the heart of Bitcoin's next phase of growth, and we are excited to begin this journey with all stakeholders." While US firms, led by Michael Saylor's Strategy, continue to dominate corporate Bitcoin acquisitions, the number of UK-based BTC treasury companies is also increasing. According to Bitcoin Treasuries data, The Smarter Web Company is the largest of a dozen UK companies that have or plan to adopt a bitcoin treasury strategy, holding 2,470 BTC ($278 million). The second largest company is Satsuma Technology, with 1,149 BTC ($129 million), and Phoenix Digital Assets is third with 247 BTC ($28 million). According to TradingView dataB HODL shares are currently trading at £17.88 ($21) per share
