最新报道:According to Bijie.com, cryptocurrency wallet MetaMask's new mUSD stablecoin has reached a circulating supply of 65 million (US$65 million), approximately a week after its launch. The mUSD stablecoin officially launched last Monday, and according to its website, its circulating supply rose to $65 million early Monday morning, up from approximately $15 million a week earlier. According to Dune analytics data compiled by Seoul Data Labs, as of Saturday, the majority of the mUSD supply was deployed on Linea (88.2%), with the remainder on Ethereum (11.8%). MetaMask revealed last month that mUSD was issued through Stripe's stablecoin platform, Bridge, and minted using M0's decentralized infrastructure. The company stated that the stablecoin is backed 1:1 by "high-quality, highly liquid USD equivalent assets." As of Sunday, the total supply of dollar-pegged stablecoins climbed to $279.8 billion, with USDT leading the way with $172.3 billion in circulation, according to data from The Block. Stablecoins have become a major focus for many cryptocurrency companies following the passage of the US GENIUS Act in July. Last week, the US Treasury Department announced it had begun public comment on its implementation of the GENIUS Act. Layer 1 blockchains Kaia and LINE NEXT also announced today that they plan to launch a stablecoin super app, which will debut on LINE's Dapp Portal later this year.
