Circle Beats USDH to the Punch with USDC Launch on HyperEVM

最新报道：Circle has launched native USDC on Hyperliquid's Layer 1 blockchain, marking its entry into the HyperEVM ecosystem. The move follows a $4.6 million HYPE purchase by a Circle-linked wallet during USDC testing and comes shortly after a governance vote granted Native Markets rights to the USDH ticker for a planned native stablecoin. Circle aims to capture market share ahead of USDH's launch, as existing stablecoins on HyperEVM lack liquidity. The integration will soon enable direct connectivity between HyperCore DEX and HyperEVM for seamless asset bridging. HYPE surged to a new all-time high of $59 post-announcement, while HyperEVM ranks as DeFi's eighth-largest chain with $2.66 billion TVL.
