最新报道:According to Financefeeds, on September 17, the U.S. Treasury Department announced sanctions against Iranian financial individuals and a network of related foreign companies, accusing them of helping Tehran transfer oil revenues through cryptocurrency. The sanctions target two Iranian citizens, Alireza Derakhshan and Arash Estaki Alivand, whom U.S. officials say were central figures in a cryptocurrency transfer scheme involving over $100 million linked to Iranian oil sales. According to Bijie.com, these funds were funneled through a network of shell companies in Hong Kong and the UAE, ultimately returning to support Iranian government operations and military equipment. The sanctions, which took effect on September 16, freeze the designated individuals' U.S.-related assets and prohibit U.S. citizens and businesses from transacting with them. The Treasury Department stated that Tehran has increasingly relied on alternative financial channels, such as cryptocurrency, to transfer funds to circumvent regulations and the banking system.
