最新报道:According to Bijie.com, KernelDAO, a rehypothecation protocol based on the BNB chain, is entering the real-world credit space with the launch of a reward-based stablecoin designed to generate yield from institutional use rather than idleness. KernelDAO will soon launch the KUSD stablecoin market, a reward-based token backed by short-term receivables designed for fintech and decentralized finance. The new stablecoin, unveiled in a KernelDAO blog post on September 16th, is powered by Kred, the project's new "Internet of Credit" layer designed to connect idle cryptocurrency liquidity with real-world financial activity. According to the team, KUSD will be fully collateralized by receivables used by institutions, such as remittances, payroll, brokerage settlements, and trade finance. Unlike traditional stablecoins, which often sit idle, KUSD is structured to generate yield from actual repayment flows, creating what KernelDAO describes as a self-reinforcing cycle of liquidity and yield. The stablecoin builds on KernelDAO's existing $2.4 billion ecosystem, including its liquidity rehypothecation protocol Kelp, Gain's high-performance treasury, and core infrastructure deployed on the BNB (BNB) chain. With 150 DeFi integrations and over 350,000 users, DAO is expanding its model to encompass real-world assets, a market projected to grow to $30 trillion by 2034. KUSD is positioned as both an institutional settlement currency and a composable yield-generating stablecoin for DeFi protocols. Liquidity providers can mint KUSD by depositing stablecoins, which are then loaned to vetted institutional borrowers. Yield generated from repayments flows back into the system, while the token itself circulates between AMMs and lending platforms. KernelDAO states that this strategy aims to address inefficiencies in the global payments market, which exceeds $220 trillion annually, with trillions of that locked in pre-funding and cross-border transfers, where settlement times can take days. KUSD aims to enable efficient and instant payments by integrating credit into its stablecoin design. The team plans to release a streamlined white paper and announce early launch partners in the coming weeks. If successful, KUSD could challenge the existing stablecoin model by directly linking DeFi's native liquidity with institutional credit demand.
