最新报道:According to Bijie.com, Tether has selected Anchorage Digital, the only federally chartered digital asset bank in the United States, to issue Tether's upcoming stablecoin, USAT. Tether announced last week that it would launch its new US-regulated stablecoin, USAT, by the end of the year. Anchorage Digital will help issue the token, which complies with the GENIUS Act. The collaboration between Tether and Anchorage Digital highlights the future of a digital dollar and sets a new standard for the US stablecoin sector. The planned launch of USAT comes as the stablecoin market is gaining momentum in global adoption and regulation. The GENIUS Act, enacted this year, allows for compliant stablecoin innovation and use in the United States. Tether's USAT, issued by Anchorage Digital Bank NA, will increase its appeal to other players such as Circle. Notably, regulatory clarity enables Tether's expansion into the United States. "The GENIUS Act laid out the vision for US stablecoin leadership—now, Anchorage Digital and Tether are making it a reality," said Nathan McCauley, CEO of Anchorage Digital. "Bringing the world's largest stablecoin ecosystem to the United States under federal oversight is exactly what American consumers and institutions need. With Tether's scale and Anchorage Digital's regulatory certainty, we are setting the gold standard for the U.S. stablecoin market," added McCauley. Anchorage allows Tether to expand its product offerings, especially as USDT (USDT) continues to dominate the ecosystem. Currently, USDT has over $160 billion in circulation globally. Issuance, reserve management, and financial compliance are key areas the protocol brings to the table. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said in a statement that Anchorage Digital enabled Tether to launch a stablecoin specifically for the U.S. market. “With USAT, Americans will finally have access to the same fast, reliable, and trusted service that Tether provides around the world,” Ardoino noted. “USAT was made for America—to strengthen the dollar, support everyday people, and strengthen the U.S. economy for years to come.”
