最新报道:According to Bijie.com, the crypto asset trading platform Gate announced that its C2C platform will officially launch the Shield Merchant Service mechanism on September 15, 2025. This mechanism establishes a unique merchant certification system through security deposit requirements, strict qualification review, and risk assessment. It also provides joint compensation support in the event of a user's transaction with a Shield merchant being subject to a judicial freeze, or other extreme circumstances. According to official rules, if a user's transaction receipt is frozen by a Shield merchant due to judicial reasons, the platform will compensate 20% of the order amount, with a maximum of 2,000 USDT per transaction, with the merchant and the platform each bearing 50%. If the merchant fails to pay the compensation, the platform will directly deduct it from the merchant's security deposit. Currently, the Shield service is available in Gate C2C's CNY fiat currency trading zone and is only available on the website. While protecting user rights, this service also strengthens merchant credit, creating a more robust and trustworthy environment for C2C transactions.
