If confirmed, it would be one of the largest cloud contracts ever. OpenAI, which began using Oracle in mid-2024, is diversifying beyond Microsoft Azure, aligning with its involvement in the $500 billion Stargate Project with SoftBank and Oracle. Despite competition, OpenAI also recently secured a cloud agreement with Google.
