最新报道:According to a Hong Kong government press release on September 10, Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po stated that only "accredited providers" can currently offer designated stablecoins. He reminded the public that virtual asset over-the-counter (OTC) trading institutions are not currently "accredited providers" and therefore cannot offer designated stablecoins to retail or professional investors. Chan reiterated that the Hong Kong Monetary Authority has not yet issued a license to any stablecoin issuer. Investors can only enjoy regulatory protections by purchasing regulated stablecoins from designated "accredited providers." Purchasing stablecoins, or any other unregulated stablecoins, through unregulated channels is at their own risk.
