最新报道:According to a report from Bijie.com, the latest version of the CLARITY Act, drafted by the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, would protect Bitcoin and cryptocurrency developers from future and past prosecution for operating unlicensed money transmission businesses. On Friday, the U.S. Senate Banking Committee released its latest draft of the CLARITY Act, which proposes amending 18 U.S.C. §1960(a) to provide that only crypto developers or service providers who "knowingly and actually control currency, funds, or other value substitutes for currency" would be considered money transmission operators. Furthermore, the amendment would not only protect Bitcoin and cryptocurrency developers after the bill's passage, but also retroactively. Section 501 of Title V of the draft, titled "Protecting Software Developers and Software Innovation," states: "This section, and any amendments made thereto, shall apply to conduct occurring before, on, or after the enactment of this Act."
