Quai will leverage Wormhole's core messaging layer to enable seamless asset transfers from over 40 chains to its scalable PoW ecosystem. Quai will also utilize Wormhole's NTT (Native Token Transfers) standard to enable multi-chain native deployment of $QI and $QUAI. Quai is the world's first energy-based currency system. It consists of a sharded EVM-compatible blockchain and utilizes the innovative Proof-of-Entropy-Minima (PoEM) consensus, boasting a throughput of 255,000 transactions per second (TPS) without sacrificing decentralization. $QUAI is its native token, while $QI is its decentralized "energy dollar." Wormhole NTT (Native Token Transfers) is an open and composable multi-chain native token transfer standard.
