The project, which raised $373 million in a token sale, aims to offer 1,000 TPS, zero-fee USDT transfers via Tether integration, and confidential transactions. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino is a stakeholder, and Bitfinex contributed to early funding. Plasma seeks to reduce reliance on third-party chains by combining Bitcoin’s security with stablecoin efficiency.
