Eightco Holdings, a small company trading on Nasdaq under the ticker 'OCTO,' announced this development on Monday. The company is focusing on accumulating Worldcoin (WLD) and has revealed plans for a $250 million private placement to implement a purchasing strategy centered around WLD tokens, which will serve as its primary reserve asset. This issuance is expected to conclude around September 11, at which point the company plans to change its stock ticker to 'ORBS.' Additionally, Eightco announced a $20 million strategic investment from BitMine, marking the launch of its 'Moonshot Plan' strategy aimed at supporting innovative ideas that can enhance the Ethereum ecosystem.
