最新报道:According to a report from Coinnet, South Korea's six largest banks (KB Kookmin, Shinhan, Hana, Woori, NH Nonghyup, and Enterprise Bank) have expressed their interest in participating in a trial involving government subsidies to the Bank of Korea. According to Coinnet, the Bank of Korea's digital currency department has been contacting individuals responsible for virtual assets and digital currencies at these banks since late August to inquire about their participation. The trial will focus on examining whether existing government subsidies or vouchers (government-guaranteed coupons) paid from the government treasury can be distributed and used by beneficiaries in the form of digital currency. The Bank of Korea and the Ministry of Strategy and Finance will hold a briefing as early as mid-month to outline the test schedule and key details for banks that have expressed interest. If preparations proceed smoothly, the actual trial could take place in the first half of next year.
