最新报道:According to Bijie.com, major cryptocurrency exchanges are experiencing significant changes in their stablecoin holdings, with Binance being a particularly prominent example. The exchange has significantly increased its reserves this year, demonstrating market confidence in both its platform and its digital dollar assets. Binance's expansion reflects a broader trend across the industry, with stablecoin liquidity on centralized exchanges reaching a record $68 billion. This milestone highlights the growing importance of stablecoins in facilitating trading and hedging strategies, as well as their role in supporting broader market activity within the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Binance Leads in Stablecoin Reserves: According to a report by CryptoQuant, Binance holds the largest share of stablecoin reserves, with USDT and USDC combined worth $44.2 billion. The on-chain aggregator notes that USDT dominates with $37.1 billion. USDC has grown from $3 billion at the beginning of 2025 to $7.1 billion today. Overall, Binance's total stablecoin holdings have increased by 48% year-to-date, reflecting strong inflows and active user engagement. Other major exchanges hold smaller, but still significant, holdings. OKX holds $9 billion in stablecoins, Bybit holds $4.2 billion, and Coinbase holds $2.6 billion. While these exchanges' balances have remained largely flat this year, they collectively account for 24% of total stablecoin reserves. Their holdings span multiple blockchain networks, including Ethereum and TRON. Notably, recent increases in stablecoin reserves have been most pronounced on Binance and OKX. Over the past month, Binance has added $2.2 billion, while OKX has added $800 million. Analysts believe these inflows reflect investor confidence and the strategic use of stablecoins to manage liquidity during periods of market volatility. This trend also highlights the central role these exchanges play in the market. Why do exchanges hold so many stablecoins? High stablecoin reserves give exchanges the flexibility to facilitate large trades without impacting prices and help traders and institutions quickly move funds. They also serve as a barometer of market sentiment, with rising reserve balances signaling growing market readiness and hedging activity. The concentration of stablecoins on major exchanges, particularly Binance, underscores the central role these platforms play in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. At present, the total amount of stablecoins held by major exchanges has reached US$68 billion, playing an increasingly important role in liquidity management, trading and risk avoidance.
