Thomas Hedberg, deputy CEO of Swedbank, said in a statement: "With this announcement from the SEC, we have concluded another investigation into historical issues." According to Bijie.com, the investigation, which began in 2019, involved Swedbank's past information disclosures. The statement also noted that investigations into the bank by the U.S. Department of Justice and the New York State Department of Financial Services are ongoing.
