Harborne, who also runs an aviation fuel business, was previously reported to be the Brexit Party's top donor and donated £1.5 million to the Conservative Party in 2022. According to the UK Electoral Commission, Harborne's most recent donation to Farage was a £27,616 trip to attend Donald Trump's second inauguration. This gift made him Farage's largest donor in 2025, with the only other donor coming close to that amount being a trip donated by George Cottrell, a former criminal. Last year, Harborn also donated £32,000 to help Farage travel to visit Trump, who was shot at a rally in Pennsylvania. Harborn's total donations to Farage over the past year have been close to £60,000.
