It will also launch a program aimed at training and certifying 10 million Americans by 2030. Walmart will offer the certification program free of charge to its 1.6 million US employees. The initiative, unveiled at the White House AI Education Conference, will put OpenAI in more direct competition with LinkedIn while addressing the risks of disruptive changes in the labor market. OpenAI CEO Fergie Simo stated that the program aims to help workers adapt to change, validate skills through a certification system, and support new job opportunities.
