最新报道:According to Bijie.com, Japan's Financial Services Agency (FSA) released a report on Tuesday, September 4th, recommending that cryptocurrency regulation be shifted from the Payment Services Act to the stricter Financial Instruments and Exchange Act (FIEA). This move aims to strengthen investor protection, address issues such as unclear disclosure, unregistered operations, and security risks within the industry, and align cryptocurrency regulation with securities regulation. The report indicates that there are over 12 million cryptocurrency accounts in Japan, with total user deposits reaching 5 trillion yen (approximately $33.7 billion). If implemented, the new regulations would impose stricter disclosure requirements on cryptocurrency issuers and stricter oversight of intermediary services. The proposal is currently an internal briefing document and is pending final approval by the Financial System Committee and the government.
