最新报道:According to Bijie.com, on September 3rd, the cryptocurrency exchange OKX was fined €2.25 million (approximately $2.6 million) by the Dutch Central Bank (DNB) for providing cryptocurrency services in the Netherlands without registering with the Dutch financial regulator. The fine covers the period from July 2023 to August 2024, before the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Directive (MiCA) came into effect. An OKX representative stated, "This fine relates to a legacy registration issue that has long been corrected and has no impact on our customers. This is the lowest fine ever imposed by the Dutch Central Bank on a major exchange, and the penalty was mitigated by corrective measures we took, including migrating Dutch users to our fully licensed MiCA European entity. We are pleased that this matter has been resolved and will continue to focus on building compliant and secure services in Europe and beyond."
