On Tuesday, the Ethereum staking queue reached its highest level since September 2023, with on-chain data showing 860,369 ETH (worth approximately $3.7 billion) waiting to be staked. After hitting a record high of just over 1 million ETH on August 29th, the staking exit queue nearly reached equilibrium for the first time. The exit queue subsequently declined by 20%, indicating a slowdown in the pace of Ethereum unstacking. Data from Ultrasound.Money shows that 35.7 million ETH, worth approximately $162 billion, or 31% of the total supply, has been staked on the blockchain.
