The Ethereum Layer 2 network halted transactions from approximately 2:23 a.m. to 4:36 a.m. UTC, requiring some users to resubmit unaffected transactions. Developers implemented a chain reorganization from block 1,960,612 to stabilize the network. A detailed retrospective analysis of the root cause and prevention measures is forthcoming.
