In June 2025, after paying over $36,000 in electricity bills, they applied to withdraw 1.0166 BTC, but were unsuccessful. Michael claimed he had lost his private key and planned to "gradually return" it, and later requested a "discounted withdrawal," neither of which materialized. The user's account was subsequently frozen, removed from the group, and blocked. On August 27th, at the Hong Kong Bitcoin Conference, Michael again verbally promised to address the issue, but to date, no action has been taken. The user stated that they had filed a police report and sent a lawyer's letter, but received no response and will continue to pursue legal action.
