最新报道:According to Bijie.com, who will truly hold the most Ethereum in 2025? It won't always be people. While the largest individual wallets have been lost to forgotten keys, the network itself controls over half of all ETH through staking contracts. According to Arkham's Ether token page [Arkham], Ethereum (ETH) ownership in 2025 will not be concentrated in the hands of a few early adopters, but rather in the mechanisms of the network itself. While staking contracts dominate the wealth lists, exchanges have aggregated billions of dollars on behalf of users, and institutions are increasingly viewing ETH as a treasury asset, marking Ethereum's maturation from a speculative asset to a productive, utility-driven financial instrument. Today, the largest single holder of ETH is not an individual, but the ETH2 Beacon deposit contract, which secures the network by locking up validator stake. It currently holds over 66.8 billion ETH, valued at approximately $287 billion, representing more than half of all tokens in existence. While staking contracts hold the largest amount of value, exchanges constitute the ecosystem's indispensable liquidity layer. They dominate the top 20 addresses, holding 55% of them. Coinbase leads the field, holding $18.00 billion worth of ETH in its custody and staking services. Binance follows closely behind, with nearly $12.00 billion, and Kraken holds a further $1.70 billion. Beyond exchanges, traditional finance has also firmly established itself. Asset management firm BlackRock now leads the financial sector, holding over 3.2 billion ETH to support its spot Ethereum ETF. This marks a critical moment for institutional validation. Meanwhile, a new type of corporate treasury has emerged, emulating the Bitcoin strategy of Michael Saylor's Strategy but with a yield-generating feature. Companies like BitMine have publicly stated their goal to accumulate 5% of the entire ETH supply, currently valued at over $7.50 billion. The title of largest individual holder belongs to Rain Lohmus, whose 250,000 ETH from the presale is permanently locked and inaccessible, a $1 billion monument to the unforgiving nature of self-custody. This leaves Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin as the largest active individual holder, with 240,000 ETH. Besides the founders, the list also includes early ICO investor James Fickel and prominent celebrities. Justin Bieber leads the celebrity list with 146.5 ETH, primarily from NFT sales, followed by streamer FaZe Banks, as well as Post Malone and Jimmy Fallon, whose holdings are more emblematic of the 2021 NFT craze than serious accumulation. The Ethereum rich list also has a dark chapter, filled with stolen funds. The Gatecoin hacker remains the largest holder of illicit ETH, having stolen 156,200 ETH from a 2016 exploit. The individual behind the FTX hack holds 95,700 ETH, remnants of the $400 million SIM swap attack that occurred after the exchange's collapse. In a unique twist, the US government has also become an unexpected whale. Through seizures from criminals like the Bitfinex hacker, it now holds 60,000 ETH, making it a significant, if unwilling, player in the ecosystem.
