最新报道:According to Bijie.com, Strategy investors decided Thursday to settle their class-action lawsuit, which alleged that Bitcoin Treasury made false and misleading statements about its investment strategy. The investors also claimed that Strategy failed to adequately disclose the impact of adopting new accounting standards. Co-founder Michael Saylor, CEO Phong Le, and CFO Andrew Kang were named as defendants. The class-action lawsuit was filed in May in the Eastern District Court of Virginia by New York-based law firm Pomerantz LLP. Pomerantz invited other investors to join the class action. The lawsuit specifically alleges that Strategy overstated the profitability of its Bitcoin investment strategy and Treasury operations while downplaying the volatility associated with Bitcoin. The lawsuit also challenges Strategy's adoption of the Financial Accounting Standards Board's accounting standards, which require fair value accounting for crypto assets. Pomerantz claims that Strategy failed to properly disclose the exact nature or extent of the impact of the new accounting standards on its financial statements and downplayed the risks to investors. As of Monday, Strategy held approximately $68.5 billion worth of Bitcoin. The company’s shares have risen more than 150% over the past year, according to The Block MSTR price page. Bloomberg first reported the dismissal on Friday.
