It identifies interoperability and the related projects mentioned in this document as the highest leverage opportunities within the broader user experience landscape over the next six to twelve months. Its recent strategy focuses on intent-based architecture and universal messaging, which will reduce costs and improve security by clarifying protocol metrics. This work is divided into three directions: 1. Initialization: making intents more modular and lightweight and strengthening shared standards to enable seamless and secure movement of assets across all chains; 2. Acceleration: reducing latency and costs and speeding up inclusion, confirmation, finalization, and settlement; and 3. Finalization: integrating cutting-edge consensus and cryptography technologies to unlock fast, permissionless cross-chain messaging. The Ethereum Foundation emphasized that the second phase of its "Trillion Dollar Security Plan" focuses on user experience, including optimizing clear signing models, key management, and establishing wallet security and privacy standards.
