The company holds 18,888 BTC, making it Japan's largest Bitcoin treasury. Its stock price has risen 187% year-to-date, far exceeding the 7.2% gain of the TOPIX 30 index. Metaplanet plans to use its BTC reserves to acquire revenue-generating businesses, aiming to accumulate 210,000 BTC by 2027.
