Berachain Co-founder: ICOs and public offerings will return, but large-scale airdrops do more harm than good.

Many large Asia-Pacific trading teams often specifically target tokens with airdrops for short selling. Furthermore, airdropped tokens are susceptible to market manipulation, with most ending up in the hands of insiders." Smokey also stated that ICOs and public offerings will make a significant comeback. For most teams going forward, the wisest approach is to conduct very small airdrops (1-2%) while simultaneously conducting public sales (perhaps 5-10%).
