Synthetic BTC market share shifts as cbBTC supply tops 30K while wBTC slides

In contrast, wBTC, the largest synthetic BTC product, saw a 17% supply drop since cbBTC's debut and a 4% decline year-to-date. The overall synthetic BTC supply on Ethereum only grew by about 3%, indicating cbBTC's growth stems largely from market share shifts rather than new inflows. cbBTC's rise is attributed to Coinbase's integrated custody and exchange services, offering lower friction for institutional users.
