最新报道:According to Bijie.com, a new proposal proposes building Ronin L2 as part of the Arbitrum Orbit chain. This is as the Ronin team plans to migrate the gaming chain to a fully mature, Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 by 2026. According to the proposal, Arbitrum (ARB) is uniquely positioned to help Ronin (RON) as the L2 seeks to return to Ethereum (ETH). Because Arbitrum has a dedicated web 3 gaming venture arm, the proposal to build Ronin as a Layer 2 on the Orbit chain means Arbitrum will be more than just a technical partner. Ronin L2 on the Arbitrum Orbit chain will be powered by RON and backed by Arbitrum Gaming Ventures. This initiative will allow Ronin to benefit from native support for RON as a gas token, transaction speed, customizability, and autonomy, as well as optimized validator fee revenue. Notably, Arbitrum Orbit is the only Layer 2 stack on Ethereum that offers native support for all four ecosystem features without the need for hacks, workarounds, or reduced upgradability. Today, we've officially proposed to the Ronin validator community that @Ronin_Network be built in partnership with @arbitrum. In this way, L2 will also accelerate Ronin's adoption for web3 games, potentially leading to greater integration across the Ethereum ecosystem. The native Ronin token, RON, will also benefit, with its usage increasing across the L2 network. Ronin launched in 2021 as a layer-1 blockchain developed by Sky Mavis to address the scalability challenges of Axie Infinity (AXS). The blockchain will launch with a Proof-of-Authority consensus model before transitioning to Delegated Proof-of-Stake in 2023. Ronin is returning to Ethereum. Ready for Layer Two ⚔️ Four years ago, we built Ronin because Axie Infinity needed a faster, more efficient network. Ethereum was in the early stages of its scaling roadmap. But things are different now… pic.twitter.com/YnQobDvhX3 This EVM-compatible chain supports a variety of tools designed to help game developers and integrates ecosystem solutions, such as Chainlink's cross-chain interoperability protocol for secure and cross-chain token transfers. Ronin also supports cross-chain non-fungible tokens and decentralized finance applications. Recent network developments, including the launch of Open Ronin through Project Leviosa, are helping to push the blockchain beyond its gaming-centric model to become a platform supporting smart contracts for DeFi, infrastructure, and consumer applications. The Ronin team recently stated that the transition to Layer 2 on Ethereum is part of its mission to become "Ethereum's gamification engine."
