最新报道:According to Bijie.com, Thumzup (ticker symbol TZUP), a social media company that recently announced a cryptocurrency fund management initiative backed by Donald Trump Jr., will acquire Dogehash Technologies in an all-stock transaction. The acquisition appears to be part of Thumzup's transition into cryptocurrency mining. Dogehash is an industrial-scale blockchain miner specializing in the Scrypt algorithm used by Dogecoin and Litecoin. Last week, Thumzup stated that it would use the proceeds from a $50 million all-common stock offering to bring assets such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC), and XRP onto its balance sheet, while also funding a new mining division. Thumpzup wrote in a statement: "The combined company aims to become the world's leading Dogecoin mining platform and will leverage Dogecoin's layer-2 infrastructure through staking in DeFi products within the DogeOS ecosystem to improve miner economics and expand returns beyond the base block reward." According to the announcement, DogeHash currently operates 2,500 Scrypt ASIC miners in North America, primarily powered by renewable electricity. The company plans to expand this scale. Under the terms of the agreement, Dogehash shareholders will exchange 30.7 million shares of Thumzup for 100% of their shares. The company will be renamed "Dogehash Technologies Holdings, Inc." and trade on the Nasdaq under the new symbol "XDOG." The transaction is expected to close before the end of the year. In its registration statement for its $50 million offering in July, Thumzup reported that Donald Trump Jr. was its majority shareholder. The Trump family has a growing network of connections throughout the cryptocurrency industry, including its involvement in mining through its American Bitcoin fund management and mining operations. At press time, TZUP was down over 30% to $5.89, but still up 132.77% over the past six months.
